I really hope you get this message because I searched for your blog again for hours today, months after reading it. I have gone through three miscarriages that never survived past two months. I was tested and told that I have MTHFR. I was prescribed high levels of folic acid that continued my losses. It was a horrible time. I came across your blog one day after so much sadness and not knowing where to turn. I took your advice and stopped the folic acid and started on the Thorne prenatals and now I am seven months pregnant with a baby boy! Isn't it strange that none of the doctors know this. I spent hours writing in forums and posting messages to get the word out there. Just think how many miscarriages out there are due to folic acid. Crazy.
I know! It's absolutely insane! I swear it didn't take him more than two minutes to write out that script for folbic (folic acid) and tell me to continue my prenatals that were also high in folic. I lost the last baby in only six weeks due to that. When I found your blog I was really at my wits end. I waited until my thirties to have children and after over a year of trying I really thought I might just not be able to carry children. Plus, it was just SO hard on my husband that was heart broken each time. I was about to give up because I just couldn't keep putting him through it. I'm just so happy and grateful I found your blog! So grateful that you took the time to share your journey! There is no doubt in my mind you made a HUGE impact in my life and I can't express how grateful I am. we had close to a decade of miscarriages. Cant believe we got there. Feels like a miracle It was a crazy crazy trip. Cant believe it was a naturopath that got us there in the end.
